He Feels for me

He feels for me through all my life,
His tears are warm but mine are ice.

His love is there through the darkest of time.
His anguish, his hurt, even when I can't feel mine.

He sees my pain, but I look away.
He reaches for me, but I keep him at bay.

Finally, I let Him come in, but not the WHOLE way.
He knows all my turmoil, but I am afraid he won't stay.

He feels my loathing, my anger he sees.
He hurts because he knows I direct it at me.

His eyes they are warm, but I see a piecing arrow.
His arms are so strong, but my vision is narrow.

I know that He loves me.....I just don't know WHY?
I feel I am weak, he sees me cry.

He feels for me, He loves me, he cares.
His love is eternal, but should I dare?

I'm scared to be loved and I don't understand.
When no one else would, God can.
