In Loving mem'ry of Linda D.

Our sister, our daughter,
our friend and mother
We now give to you,
oh, Heavenly Father!

You loaned her to us
for just a little while
Now, we return her to you
with a tear-stained smile.

She truly brought us
great joy and happiness
And we thank you, Father
for lending her to us.

There'll be no need for sorrow
or shedding of tears
For the mem'ries she given
will last us for years.

As she journeys with you
into heaven's land
May she stand complete
in your strong hands.

Please wrap your arms 'round
her as she comes to you.
And, please, dear Jesus, please
hold her close to you.

As your love embraces her
and draws her near,
Please walk with her Jesus
as you walked with her here.

And when she crosses over
into the Promised Land
May she be led by
your nail-pierced hands!

For she comes to you bringing
every burden and care,
So, please take her load
for it's been so hard to bear.

Lead her to a place where
She'll suffer no more
And bring her safely home
to that heavenly shore!
