Every day a heavy burden Complete with sorrow and despair I seek You time and again Believing that You are there. I want to feel Heaven on Earth Will You fulfill my every need? Give me Carte Blanche to Your heart The words to the Christian's Creed There is no one simple prayer I want authority for them all Give me Carte Blanche to Your heart For every time I slip and fall. Your very Word promises this You desire for me to succeed I must have every part of You Crying out the Christian's Creed. My soul bears Your signature Having drenched it with Your tears Give me Carte Blanche to Your heart Then wash away all my fears. Lord, I seek You this moment At last, a sinner has been freed You have given me Carte Blanche As I prayed the Christian's Creed. |
