Inside Out by Kathleen Higham Feeling a quiet peacefulness Not yet completely aware The moment before I open my eyes Breathing in, His presence is there. Tenderly settled in my heart Even when I am fast asleep My heart touches His heart For I am His to keep. A warmth spreads through my body From the inside out love flows My morning begins in worship A soul rejoices, then glows. Every day I pray to Him There is nothing I can hide I pray with deep sincerity In me, dear Lord reside. Needing to love Him faithfully Inside out I wish to be Letting go of my heartache Then my God will come to me. Holding my heart in His hands When all my thoughts I share Surrendering everything to the Lord My iniquities I have laid bare. Loving Him from the inside out Fully conscious of this day Loving Him from the inside out So completely in every way. 1 Corinthians 2:9 "No eye has ever seen or no ear has ever heard or no mind has ever thought of the wonderful things God has made ready for those who love Him." |
