A Circle of Love

Poetry is God's love note
An eloquent calliope I see
A circle of love so intimate
These words from God to me.

I am stunned by the numbers
And the distance of each friend
The circle of love far reaching
It seems there is no end.

My mind fills with tender thoughts
Of friends I have never seen
This heart loves as if I had
They permeate my inner being.

As strangers evolve into family
From across the world they greet
The circle of love so perfect
Another loving heart I meet.

Then joy, a peace that gratifies
That lends my soul, be still
The circle of love, God's love note
And I wait,I wait until.

An awareness overwhelms me
It is mesmerizing to feel this way
I simply ask Him for the words
Cleansing tears fall as I pray.

Poetry is God's love note
Oh my soul pines to write
The circle of love takes me there
To a new and glorious height.

A circle of love so binding
When you enter you will see
The circle of love is Jesus Christ
And the Poet, it is He.
