When the Sun Doesn't Shine

What do you do
when the sun doesn't shine?
How do you see
when it's dark and you pine
for the light and the joy
and it seems it won't come?
How do you make it
when there's no light above?

Do you turn to the source
of all hope that we find?
Do you put all your trust
and leave sorrow behind?
Do you have faith in God,
in His purpose and plan?
Do you give Him your cares
and hold tight to His hand?

I ask you because
my troubles have shown
there's only one light
and through this I've grown
to know how to hope
and look only to Him
for God allows sunlight
to shine bright again!
