From Trash to Treasure by Patricia Joan Polhans I was once a sinner full of evil and sin, Adult'ry I'd committed time and time again. Alcohol and drugs were important in my life. Why, I'd even committed sins against my wife. I was an evil sinner, brawler and slanderer. Everything that I tried I'd become a failure. Then Jesus came to me and gently took me in, Washed away the darkness, purified me from my sin. He washed away the evil 'twas present in my life, Restored the relationship between me and my wife. Now my lips speak blessings my mouth does not ever curse For in me lives a Savior that has given me new birth. Some looked at me as worthless But I was God's perfect pleasure. When he turned me from trash into a valued treasure. |
