The Conqueror
by Albert Watson

Oh what an aroma filled the air,
From Jesus' feet and Mary's hair.
A thank you gift to her Sovereign Lord,
The one she loved, worshipped, adored.
A special meal had been prepared,
In honour of this one who cared.
He who wept outside the tomb,
Had stone removed gazed into gloom.
Then with a mighty voice did shout,
To his friend, 'Lazarus, come out'.
Amidst gasps of shock, wonder, awe,
He bound in linen stood before,
The Christ of all eternity.
'Remove the grave clothes set him free.'
