Hat's Off by Kathleen Higham Aging takes its toll sometimes I feel my body betray, but God sent me a precious friend Who wishes to relieve my dismay. Her smile can be contagious Her eyes sparkle with delight She has an oil, a herb, a word Her knowledge is out of sight. She senses every little nuance With a passion for your grief She is absolutely God's child When she comes to bring relief. There an unselfish nature So freely this woman gives I am touched by her tender heart And the Godly life she lives. It is my joy to have met her As she comes with oils in hand Or lugging bottles of water Her life with God is planned. Believing God knows everything He has a desire for us to be well So she studies the body ardently Then in His Word she'll dwell. There is a fascination in her Along with a freedom to share She is waiting, willing, wonderful Armed magnificently with prayer. Hats off to my wonderful friend When she walks through the door Hats off to my wonderful friend I could not love you more. |
