Burning Bush by Betty Bishop One day while Moses tended his sheep, On the backside of the desert, earning his keep. God showed up and interrupted his labor, Called out his name and showed him favor. God paused and waited for Moses to see, To make sure he had truly perceived. Only when God knew Moses was attentive, Did he begin to speak and give his directive. How many times throughout our lives Do we see the bush and go on by? God continues to seek those who will halt And turn from their busy-ness to hear Him talk. |
