God Changed

It's not that I don't like
this life I have.
It's not that
it's all bad;
It's just that
I don't want to pretend
any longer.
I put on a face
the world wants
to see.
I want to be who
God wants me
to be.
It won't be easy
and you may not
understand,
why I choose to
change who I was
to be who I am.
The world may
snicker and not
believe
but with faith
in God
I will prevail
and be
God changed.
