Life

A life is given and a life is taken and that's just the way life goes,
When will these take place, I'd say that it's only God Who knows.
Life enters into the world, then for it's sin, death takes it out,
If you are not clear on this, read God's word to remove any doubt.
Some lives are lived for many years, while others, a few days or less,
With some enduring years of heartaches and others years of happiness.

We watch as a life enters the world bringing joy with this birth,
With sadness in our heart, as we see a special one leave the earth.
Life is a precious thing, as it enters this world and as it goes out,
For God created man in His image and this is what life is all about.
Therefore life belongs to God and should be lived in honor to Him alone,
In doing this, we'll have eternal life as we reach our heavenly home.
