Blood Bought by Alyssa Panck © 2009 Sometimes when I start to think I am moved by my thoughts What if the old me never became extinct And what if I wasn't blood bought What if I spent my whole life without Christ That's a terrible thought What if I had to pay the ultimate price Because I wasn't blood bought What if God never sacrificed His Son Now that's a scary thought Everything He did would be undone And I would have never been blood bought What if God rightly gave me what I deserve I am afraid of my thoughts Instead He put me on reserve And with His blood I was bought Sometimes I stare up at the sky And I am moved by my thoughts I know it is only because of His love That I am blood bought |
