The Meeting Place by Robert Hedrick Friend, let's meet in heaven, making heaven our meeting place, When these lives are completed and we have finished this race. Even though you don't recognize me there, nor I remember you, I believe that our friendship then, for all of eternity, will be true. Neighbor, heaven would be a great meeting place for you and I, Then, perhaps visiting more often, there in that sweet by and by. Where neighbors will be perfect, something never known before, Each living together in perfect peace and harmony, for evermore. There's that one I've disagreed with so many times in the past, If we make heaven our meeting place, this will be put to rest at last. There'll be no disagreements then, living together in one accord, Dwelling in perfect tranquility, thanks to Jesus Christ our Lord. Heaven would be a great meeting place for everybody, someday, Then this has been made possible, for Jesus paid everyone's way. Sadly though, all wont make it to heaven, but I'd like to meet you, If you'll just accept Jesus as your Savior, then this will come true. |
