Deep Mountains by Kathleen Higham In the sea deep mountains rest Unimaginable as it may be A vision leaves me breathless Deep mountains in the sea. We know of their existence Scripture bears this mystery Every time I read His Word Incredible stories revealed to me. God speaks to each our language Then His peace dwells within A promise once unattainable Will denounce each and every sin. Marveling at this miracle He soothes the soul in sorrow Heaven calls to me a dream There, on the fringe of tomorrow. Mountains anchored to the earth Hidden massively in the sea Transcends all understanding Then cries out, "It is He." Would this be possible? Could a mere human conceive? Oh yes, you surely could If to God you come, believe. In the sea deep mountains rest These works our Lord has done His mountains, just a stepping stone When to us He calls His Son. Jonah 2:1-5 |
