Searching for a true Friend by BenjaminU Anabaraonye © 2009 Searching for a true Friend I search without end Searching for one who truly cares One who to be true dares Searching for one to listen To this heart that with tears glistens One to inspire in my heart true joy Whose company I'll enjoy One who believes in me Causing me my strengths to see One who renders help unselfishly Sharing and giving generously One with a heart of compassion Bringing to me strength and motivation One whose heart overflows with kindness Bringing to my soul peace and calmness Serching for a shoulder to cry upon A heart to cheer and urge me on One to truly love me so When I'm down and low One who shares my success and happiness As well as my sorrows and sadness One who can safely save secrets And will not let them soar to the streets Searching for an arm that brings comfort A harbour of relief and resort Searching for true love I've only got to look above |
