Heal My Heart by George Cuff O God, It's hard to be in this state I'm in— To be angry at others while ignoring my sin, But with your help and by your grace, I'll turn from this anger and seek your face. I know the truth; I've seen the light; I cannot continue this losing fight. I give you sovereignty o'er my life. Take all this anger, bitterness, and strife. I kneel before you burdened with shame. I surrender my rights and release the blame. I give over to you this one I hate. It's for you to determine their future, their fate. I ask you now to heal my heart, To draw me close never to part, To forgive my sin; my anger release, And fill me anew with joy and peace Amen |
