Dear Jesus - The Temple
by Terry Rutledge

Dear Jesus:

Here's a question making perfect sense.
Why fight over land and put up a fence?
Israel says a Mosque is covering land,
Where King Solomon's Temple used to stand.

Why fight or put up a fuss?
When you come it won't matter to us.
It may be rebuilt. That's your call.
When you come the Mosque will fall.

If you want it rebuilt I can almost bet,
you'll tell it to build and it'll be set.
I don't know what they're crying about.
When you come all material will be out.

They can complain. It won't do a thing.
Judgment day we'll all praise the king.
You'll come down and we'll all cower.
People will them believe in your power.

When you come down Judgment Day,
all people will then start to pray.
your finger will build on that site.
People will know the Bible was right.

Your faithful servant
