God Has Sent Us a Comforter!

How comforting are the words that we hear our Savior speak
His Words bring peace and comfort to all those who are weak.
We're not able to express the pain that we may sometimes feel;
As it is inexplicable but it will make us cry and kneel.

The Lord has sent us a comforter, something only God is able to do;
He knows us as He made us, as this pain He has also been through.
He sacrificed His only begotten Son in order to give us eternal life;
Knowing that this was necessary so that we could live without any strife.

Have you ever tried to imagine what your life would be without God by your side?
Just take a look at those who don't know Him and you will then want to abide.
God has made it very simple there is nothing hard for us to do;
Just love Him and obey Him and He will certainly see you through.

This may sound like a simple formula, sometimes too easy to comprehend;
But God knows us as His children and He did this so He could be our friend.
Don't make life difficult trying alternative ways that will never work;
Read God's Word daily as He will keep you safe and free from hurt.

The comforter that I am talking about is the Holy Spirit you see;
This is not mysterious or complicated as He came to set us free.
The only thing we need to do is to accept Jesus Christ -- God's Son.
God will take over from there and show us He is the Only One.
