The Understanding of Life

Oh, the mysteries of life we so often have to face;
We feel we know the answers given the right time and place.
When confronted with circumstances we just don't understand;
We think our wisdom and intellect will put us in command.

We talk with friends and encourage them and leave them doing well;
But very soon we all realize they are living between heaven and hell.
So what is the answer to the woes and cares of the day;
There is so much going on about us, and there is so much to say.

There really is only one resource that we are able to turn to for help;
As we are God's creation and His manual is sitting on a shelf.
There is no situation in this life that someone else has not faced;
For what happened yesterday will certainly be retraced.

The understanding of life, no man has really conquered;
For this need to feel secure and this belief must be sponsored.
Sponsored and encouraged by those who also know the Lord.
Otherwise we will feel left out and not be of one accord.

To say you understand life, you are not being totally honest;
For when you delve into questioning, are you being at your calmest?
Just remember God tells us that all questions He will not answer;
We have to place our trust in Him for He is our enhancer.
