Cowgirl For The Lord by Linda T Reich I may not dress the same as you In my jeans and cowgirl boots But riding the range on my Daddy's land Is a life that really suits. In my flannel shirt and cowgirl hat I can lasso as good as anyone can, And no matter what the weather is like I can round-up the herd from across the land. The big open country before me, I scout around for the lost. I'm not talking about cattle or horses now But the lost sheep bought at a great cost. The lost sheep belong to my Daddy. He searches for them everywhere. If I could bring just one safely back home, Oh, how much my Daddy does care. No matter how large the flock, If just one has wandered away, My Daddy grieves and is waiting back home For the one who dared to stray. If you happen to be in the saddle, And stumble onto one of Daddy's lost sheep, Reach down and give it a helping hand Forgiveness is within it's reach. |
