In My Garden
by Linda T Reich

In my garden I'm growing weeds
I tend to pick them when I please
Weeds have a way of sneaking in
Just like weeds, so are our sins.

Sin sneaks up and settles in
Like with weeds we must begin
To rid ourselves of every one
I think my work is never done.

Rid myself of all my sins
Overwhelmed, I must begin
One by one with my God's help
I cannot do it by myself.

Bye-bye sin, one by one
I know my work has just begun
You're not welcome anymore
I mean business! This is war!
