I Always Thought of You

Long before time began,
For you I had a plan.
Knew everything you'd do,
I always thought of you.

I knew the path you'd take,
And the mistakes you would make.
Because I loved you true
I always thought of you.

I knew there'd come a time
When your life would be mine.
On the cross I called your name
Paid for all your sin and shame.

With joy I heard your voice
When you made Me your choice,
No more in sin to roam
A sinner had come home.

Together all these years,
Through heartaches, smiles and tears,
We've walked and became friends
Our fellowship has no end.

Long before time began
For you I had a plan.
And daily your life through
I always thought of you.
