His Touch
by Deborah Smith Plemmons © 2009

With His touch,
Jesus healed the blind.
He loosed the tongue.
He recovered the mind.

With His voice,
Jesus raised the dead.
He made the lame walk.
He calmed people's dread.

With His nailed-scarred hands,
Jesus touched me.
I once was blind;
Now I can see.
He touched my life;
Took away my sin.
He touched my heart;
Now I'm cleansed within.
He touched my mind;
I seek no fame.
He touched my lips;
I praise His name.
He touched my ears;
I hear His voice.
He touched my hands;
I make the right choice.
He touched my feet;
I walk His path.
With His nail-scarred hands,
I've been saved from wrath.

With His touch,
Jesus ends all strife.
He can heal you;
Give you eternal life.
