Draw up the Water

I sought my own way
But never could find
Quench for this thirst
Or peace for my mind.

God found me empty;
Dirty, broken and blind.
Revealing to my heart
Not found in mankind

He said-
"Draw up the water,
Look up at my face
Satisfy your thirst
With mercy and grace."

"I gave up my life
To free you from sin,
Come unto me and
Never thirst again."

I drew up the water,
I looked at His face
My thirst now satisfied
With mercy and grace.
