Why's? Could it be.........

The nights seem endless as I cry out to you
as I pour out the heaviness of my heart
With the anticipation of hearing your voice
to calm my soul that’s torn apart.

I ponder on the WHY’S in my life
Of all the sufferings that I endure
As I continue to seek your ways
the more My destiny feels unsure.

Could it be that I have neglected
to surrender it all to you?
And to yield to your provisions
that will guide me and see me through?

Could it be that I’m too anxious
to reach my purpose in life?
And in the process, blind to see
Your works removing the strife’s!

Could it be that in my heart
there are vines of unforgiveness?
Bounding me to my past
And making the wrong decisions!

Could it be that I’m too busy
to see your hands over me?
As I sit here with my why’s
I’ve turned my ears from thee.

Teach me Lord to rest upon you
To be still and seek your face
To walk through the fire
As you prepare me for YOUR RACE!
