True Love in Him Prevails

A husband loves his wife;
He holds her ever near.
He speaks a gentle word;
"I love you my sweet dear."

She holds his hand with smile;
And laughs a time or two.
"Honey you're my hero;
To you I will be true."

He trusts her with his heart;
He thinks of her all day.
He prays for all her needs;
And leads her in God's way.

She's eager to please him.
She serves, to show her love;
And longs to be with him.
He's who she's dreaming of.

When words of hurt cause tears;
And voices escalate.
They humbly bow and pray;
And on the Lord they wait.

They overcome the grief.
They overcome the pains.
When looking to the Lord;
Sweet fellowship remains.

Both looking to the cross.
Both walking the same way.
Walking on, side by side;
Together they obey.

Into the Sonset of Love;
In passion for God's cause.
Seeking blessings from above;
Not seeking men's applause.

In Love, they love the Lord;
True love in Him prevails.
Living in the Spirit;
Their love will never fail.
