Why by Deborah Smith Plemmons Why do some birds soar through the sky, While others fall from their nests and die? Why do some trees grow to great heights, While others are destroyed by nature or man's plights? Why are some mountains displayed majestically, While others quake and erupt uncontrollably? Why do some rivers and seas flow peacefully, While others roar and lash out viciously? Why are some childen born and grow naturally, While others die or are taken prematurely? Though nature doesn't always remain the same, Still nature cries out and praises His name. When trials and tribulations come our way, Let us still worship and praise God each day. On earth, we may never know the answer to "Why", But some day we may, when we meet God on high. |
