Oh, To Be Thankful

Oh, to be thankful
For God's goodness,
For His mercy,
For His forgiveness.
Oh, to be thankful
For God's Son,
For saving grace,
For everyone.
Oh, to be thankful
For the trials,
For tears of joy,
For the smiles.
Oh, to be thankful
For the family unit,
For the home,
For all those in it.
Oh, to be thankful
For a house and car,
For food and clothes,
For where we are.
Oh, to be thankful
For plants and trees,
For the animals,
For a gentle breeze.
Oh, to be thankful
For life in general,
For the breath of life,
For life eternal.
