Comfort One Another
by Deborah Smith Plemmons

Oh! Lord, my God, You are a comfort to me;
So, to others, I should a comforter be.

I am always comforted through Your Holy Word;
I should comfort others whose vision is blurred.

Blessed be God, the Father, Who comforts us all;
Even through trials, we will not utterly fall.

God tells us to comfort another in love;
Just like He comforts us from Heaven above.

Comfort the weak that they may become strong,
Even when they feel that everything's gone wrong.

The Comforter came when Jesus' time was passed;
It's only the work done through Him that will last.

When we're walking daily in the Holy Ghost,
That is when we will be effective the most.
