Blessed are the Peacemakers

Do you know someone who is gracious, meek, and mild?
A reflection of their Father; His sweet and precious child.
Someone who has His heart, His patience, and His love...
And when they touch your life, you know it's from Above.

Their kindness warms your soul, whenever they are near,
Speaking words of comfort, to calm your every fear.
Their compassion runs so deep, that it penetrates your heart,
To ease your heavy burdens, soothing every aching part.

Their mercy is so pure, not judging faults or sin,
For they only show you love, and leave the rest to Him.
Heaven touching earth, and Jesus touching man,
Through a child of God, reaching out to hold your hand...

As their hugs feel like His arms, enfolding you with grace,
With a smile to cheer your heart; you see Jesus in their face,
To lift you in your sorrow, to ease your hurt and pain,
To fill your soul with laughter, to break your heavy chains.

What a comfort, what a mystery, what a blessing from above,
That your Father holds you near, through a vessel of His love,
To send His strength, His mercy, His gentleness, His joy...
Blessed are the peacemakers, a child that brings Him glory!!!

For somewhere on their journey, they opened up their hearts,
To receive the love of God, which He tenderly imparts.
Yes, Heaven touching earth, and Jesus touching man,
Through a precious child of God, He reaches out to hold your hand!
