Jesus Christ, the Holy One

Let me tell you a story of old,
About God, Who so loved the world;
That He gave His only begotten Son,
Who is Jesus Christ, the Holy One.

God knew before the world began,
Or e'er They, in Their image, made man;
That He would send His beloved Son,
Who is Jesus Christ, the Holy One.

God's reason for this to take place,
Was to redeem the fallen human race.
This sacrifice was given in His Son,
Who is Jesus Christ, the Holy One.

God is One of truth and does not lie;
Of a truth, His Son was born to die.
Salvation is through His resurrected Son,
Who is Jesus Christ, the Holy One.
