What If There Was No God? by Deborah Smith Plemmons If there was no God, Who made the heavens, the earth, and light, Or darkness, the moon, and the sun so bright? If there was no God, Who made the stars to hang in the sky, Or with great precision, made the birds to fly? If there was no God, Who made the grass, the flowers, and the trees, Or the animals for both dry land and the seas? If there was no God, Who made man and gave him life, Or a help meet, who he called his wife? If there was no God, Who gave His Son to redeem fallen man, That before They created earth, it was in Their plan? Things just didn't happen by chance; All creation shows there was a Creator. He's the God of gods, the Lord of lords; He is the Almighty, and there is none greater. Don't you think it's better to have lived a good life, And your belief and trust in God were strong; Than to have not believed in God at all, And after death, find out that you were wrong? The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Psalm 14:1a |
