A Miracle...

by Julie Carro

A miracle is something, that cannot be explained,
Like the colors of the seasons, and how they know to change,
Like the ocean's mighty waters, not spilling o'er the shore,
And the majesty of nature, draped in glorious decor.

A miracle is something, that does not come from man,
For it radiates from heaven, by the touch of God's own hand.
A secret mystery of power, from a quiet hidden place,
When God Himself has heard your prayers, to meet you face to face.

Now a miracle is occurring from the throne to the earth,
And it is surely happening, through your precious baby's birth.
Like the resurrection power, raising Christ from the tomb,
God is creating life within you, in the secret of your womb...

As little hands and little feet, are forming by the day,
To one day grasp your own, running joyfully to play.
Precious eyes are being colored, to gaze upon your face,
To connect your very souls, in a sweet unspoken place.

Tiny ears are being tuned, to hear your precious voice,
And the song of your heart, will be its symphony of choice.
It will kick and dance within you, bringing joy to your soul,
As its little heart is strengthened; God's creation to behold!

Yes, a miracle is occurring, from the throne to the earth,
And it is surely happening, through your precious baby's birth.
Like the resurrection power, raising Christ from the tomb,
God is creating life within in you, in the secret of your womb.
