My Love for My Lord

I love you Lord, with all my mind, heart and soul
You are my first thought in the morning and the last thought at night
Keep your living water flowing through me and quench my thirst for you
In your presence I want to be all the days of my life.

Like the still waters flowing down a stream, tranquil and serene
My mind flows with every thought of your love, mercy and grace
Comforting my soul when the winds stirs the waters
Shielding me from the currents striking my face.

There is nothing that compares to loving you, serving you and following you
This world can satisfy for a moment, but you satisfy for an eternity
I give you my heart, mind, soul, and body as a living sacrifice
Which is mere compare to your sacrifice on Calvary.

I promise to love you and serve you faithfully through my battles
To praise you and honor you even through the storms
To speak of your love and your ways to all
To teach others how to love you despite if their hearts are torn.

I cannot find enough words to express my love to you
But know that you consume me and you are my lover of my soul
I will praise you in the good times and through all the bad as well
Because in the midst of all my battles, you are there and in control.
