'My Faith And A Prayer

I come to you again Lord
with tears streaming down
my face lay my burdens at
your feet you are my
resting place.

My life line to hold on to
a beacon in the night when
the storms of life surround
me and I have no strength
to fight.

Sometimes I sit and wonder
why I must suffer as I do
it's then I think about the
cross the pain that you went
through.

By Faith in you I put my
trust for you alone know
what is best you have kept
me safe thus far and this
is for me another test.

And when this trial is over
I will thank you Lord for
being there a friend that I
could turn to with my Faith
and a prayer.

Oh, Lord I love you so much
you are my comforter and my
friend the one I will adore
until my life shall end.

Now help me Lord to wait
trust you and obey believe
inside my heart that in your
perfect timing answered prayers
are on there way.
