As The Darkness Grows by raymond sides Father, at one time as Christians we would have frowned on the sins that are going on in the dark,(sinful living) But now many of us Christians are looking away as we continue to grow use to the devil leaving his mark. (to kill, steal, and destory.) As the darkness grows even darker to Christians, just as it has to all those who have not come to Jesus, the Light. Christians lights are becoming dim, because they're allowing the darkness to bring them into the night.(misery or unhappiness.) We Christians have to live in this world full of darkness as we run our earthly race. But we don't have to get use to the darkness, for we have our God's amazing grace. We Christians are the light of this world and we should shine brithter as we travel our journey each day, While giving light to those in darkness, so they can come to Jesus, the truth, the life, and the only way. Sin is getting worse as the devil's time on earth is getting to be less and less, While the darkness grows even darker, since many Christians are not giving Jesus their best. I am as guilty as some of you in not witnessing as Jesus would have me to, So let's trim our lamp wicks, making our lights shine brighter, and witness as Jesus would have us to do. |
