My Message

Wandering aimlessly through life filled with doubt
Always searching for what existence is all about
We seem to get caught up with things of this earth
And get lost on how much these things might be worth

Always wondering about what others might think
Wasting precious time, waiting for the boat to sink
You see so many are losing faith in this world today
Scared and trembling they have forgotten the way

But I have something that God wants you to hear
And this message involves nothing about fear
Every time that I have been knocked to the floor
God's helped me up and shown me another door

It never seems to go, the way I think it will
And sometimes the door just leads to another hill
But remember God has a plan for each one of us
And for that reason we must go on without a fuss

Hope and Faith is the message that He chose for me
No matter what happens there's always more to see
So I will do my best to walk through the next door
Never knowing quite what God has in store

Hope is about knowing better days are ahead
Not wishing or wanting on words that were said
Faith is a confidence that we have for our King
For the love and compassion that only he can bring

So I ask you today to think about your message within
And how God wants you to use this message against sin
So go out and spread the words, He has laid on your heart
It's time for all of us to speak up, it's time to do our part
