Religious But Lost
by Cindy Wyatt

There is only one road to heaven
and the road is narrow and strait
The sad fact is that many people who are religious
will not enter Heaven's gate

To get on the narrow road
you must trust Jesus as savior and be born again
by accepting His shed blood atonement
for all your sin

The bible says not everyone who says
"Lord, Lord" shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven
but only those who trust in Jesus' blood,
the only plan of salvation given

Many will seek to enter Heaven,
claiming all the good deeds they have done
But shall not be able to enter in
because they trusted in themselves instead of God's son

Matthew 7:21-23 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
