My Way, His Way
by Albert Watson

Of one thing this man is certain,
Death is not the final curtain.

After death the judgement day,
Hear some sing, 'I did it my way'?

What is man you ask the question?
Evolved from goo Darwin's suggestion.

It was the Lord who shaped that goo,
Created man yes me and you.

Made to worship made to praise,
T'was the serpent changed our ways.

Hiding, naked, scared, ashamed,
The woman and the serpent blamed.

Thus banished from that garden scene,
Since that time the world has been.

A place of warring sin and strife,
Yet from the cross God offers life.

Life to all who bend the knee,
And offer up the penitents plea.

Lord I'm a sinner, spiritually dead,
I understand your blood was shed.

Forgive me now, forgive today,
Alive in you, I'll live your way.
