Crucified Again
by Donna Hendrix

Can you imagine how it felt to be Christ upon the cross
Suffering for this sinful world to pay the ultimate cost
With His body broken and nail pierced skin
Would you choose to put Him through it all over again

We accept Him as our Savior; the angels in heaven sing
Knowing there's another who became a child of the King
Jesus wants the best for His sisters and brothers
He wants us to live our life for Him; not for any other

His Holy Word was given to guide us through each day
So that we may learn to walk in the Savior's way
The Holy Spirit came to live within our hearts
So that we would never ever have to be a part

Jesus wants us always to choose good over evil
Because He died for us to make our sins non lethal
He wants us to become more and more like Him
Choosing wisely, not running with a whim

Remember your body is the temple of your Lord
Don't let it contain things that the Savior abhors
Satan will tempt you with all of his might
Just hold onto the Savior and stay within His light

Yes, can you imagine how it felt to be Christ upon the cross
Suffering for me and you; paying our high cost
He gave His all for the forgiveness of our sins
Every time you sin against Him; He's crucified again.
