When They Take A Look by Donna Hendrix I need to shout your praises from the highest mountain peaks Let everyone know who is the Way, the Truth, the Life they seek I can't sing of your glory or give you praise enough to this world For you are with me no matter what in this life is unfurled I want to shout to everyone that I know the Son of God That He travels with me down every path and road I trod I want to tell everyone that my Savior is the only one That He was sent to save us so His Father's will be done I want to sing of the amazing love and grace you give If only for you will we give our life to live I want to shout to all the world of your wonderful peace And if we'll confess our sins to you, you'll give such sweet release I want my life to shine as a beacon in the night To show everyone around me the wonder of your might Let my life be as an open book That all may see Jesus in me when they take a look There are times Lord, when I want to keep you to my self Keep you locked away and hidden upon my shelf But I know that would be wrong Lord to keep you hidden from others For it is your command Lord, that we share your Gospel one to another |
