Death's Sting Removed

Don't let thoughts of death steal your joy here on the earth,
Go to Jesus, He will remove it's sting through a second birth.
Admit your sins and receive the forgiveness He shall provide,
Turning away from Satan and putting his foolishness aside.

Death had no hold on man before Satan lured him into sin,
But when God was disobeyed, death was passed to all men.
His Word tells us, that the wages of sin is death, indeed,
While God's gift is eternal life, as Jesus comes to intercede.

We die, but to do so without Jesus is an everlasting mistake,
For when this happens, hell looms ahead with it's fiery lake.
Jesus died to conquer sin and hell for all who trust and obey,
Then with full faith in Him, that sting of death will go away.

Death opens heaven's door to all those who are in Jesus' care,
For they know that it could come at most anytime and anywhere.
Also that Jesus is The Light that will overshadow death's grip,
Those trusting Him will make heaven their final and finest trip.
