FACING OUR ISSUES

Do you ever feel so helpless
Like you’re falling into a pit
You can’t seem to get out on your own
And your flesh is taking fits?

Do you ever feel like running
Running from God and man
So there’s never expectations
Or disappointments to their plans?

And when you attempt to draw close to God
Do you struggle to yield your heart
Because of all the issues you have
You’ll probably miss the mark?

Do we think our God is just too small
To help us through each thing we face?
Then why may I ask, do we struggle so hard
Why not simply trust His grace?

For in these times we’re feeling weak
We must simply yield, trusting His heart
For He will never ever leave us alone
And His love will never miss the mark

We may run so hard and try to hide
But God’s love will always meet us there
Let’s Face Our Issues and yield for change
So, as eagles, we can soar through the air!
