"IN THE QUIETNESS"

In the quietness of Who You are
I am awed by Your beauty
Your love simply reaches out
I feel Your Spirit gently guiding me

In the stillness, I can sense Your heart
As Your love compels me in
I can’t help but surrender my will
As Your Spirit offers freedom from sin

In the gentle way You touch my soul
My spirit is able to reach out to Yours
I could only want to belong to You
Your presence causes my heart to soar

Like lying beneath a cloudless sky
With You I can let down all my guards
No worries of what’s going on all around me
Basking in the light of the stars!

Oh, the beauty of being in Your Presence
I could only beg You for so much more
Knowing the intensity of Your love for me
Lord, I want more than ever before!
