Walking the Walk

I know I often talk "the Talk."
But do I really walk "the Walk"?

Do my deeds match what I say?
Or am I putting on a play?

I say the words, I know the part.
But, are they written in my heart?

I can smile, say that I care.
But, do I really want to share?

When reaching out to another,
Do I honestly LOVE my brother?

Have I set aside false pride,
To let the Spirit be my guide?

Have I died to Self, at all?
Or am I riding for a fall?

Now its time - I must take stock!
Make sure I'm grounded on the Rock!

To serve with true humility,
In everything He asks of me.
