In Heaven We Will Open Our Eyes

We should not feel dismayed, watching the worldly prosper.
They will soon be depraved, for God will not be a mocker.
When the worldly die everything they have will come to an end.
They will never see a new life as they chose a life of sin.

Believers will be satisfied when in Heaven they open their eyes.
It will be their greatest reward as it will end their countless sighs.
For as a believer the end of one's life is certainly not the end.
It will be a new beginning for we are now free from sin.

We will experience jubilation for the Lord has brought us through.
Being ever so grateful for what God has said turns out to be true.
We have finally reached our home where our new life will now start.
Our earthly ties now severed as we are truly part of God's heart.
