The Pathway

As I was walking down life's pathway I thought that I knew,
Exactly where I was going and what I was going to do.
But I was only fooling myself for little did I know,
The pathway I was walking on had only one way to go.

I heard a still small voice one day and I looked up to see,
Who it was that was talking and what he wanted of me.
My lips began to tremble,my eyes filled with tears,
My pathway,it was crumbling but He said, "Have No Fear".

He stretched out his hand and said, "Follow Me,
I will show you a new path that leads to eternity".
So,if your pathway begins to tremble and you know not what to do,
Just listen for that still small voice and then let it guide you.
