God's Precious Ones

Babies are God's special ones
He knows them well
He forms them in the mother's womb
They all have a story to tell

He sets each one apart
He knows them before they are born
He seals them with his love
With beauty they are adorn

He knits them together with a delicate touch
Every moment recorded in his book
They take shape in utter seclusion
Precious at the very first look

The mother carries her special cargo
That life God is making
Most mothers love their precious babies
While some are forsaking

Jesus was a very special baby
He was divinely conceived
Praise to all mothers
Whose babies are lovingly received
