He Can

If I could take all those flaming arrows that seem to come your way,
If I could take those dark moments and make them bright as day,
If I could lift those burdens from you, so taller you would stand,
If I could just pray more because with His strength, I know He can.

If I could bring you a moment of joy when your heart seems so sad,
If I could I'd try to make the struggles you face not seem so bad,
If I could I'd do anything I could to lend you a helping hand,
If I could just pray more because with His strength, I know He can.

If I could look ahead and see what is around the bend,
If I could help ease the hurts of you, my precious friend,
If I could help you see His purpose, then you'd understand,
If I could just pray more because with His strength, I know He can.

I know that there are valleys only He can take you through,
I know He'll hold you close because of his deep love for you,
I know by faith He'll lead you through and take you by His hand,
I know I'll pray more because with His strength, I know He can.
